Once the design has been reviewed and finalized and the contract signed the engineering and permit process will begin. Permits will be prepared and then submitted to the proper city or county office for approval. Please note that time varies based on city and/or county.
At this point the pool and / or spa design is laid out on to the proposed site area which allows you to visualize the actual dimensions before excavation begins. If size, shape and location are acceptable construction will begin.
Once the layout phase is completed we will begin to dig your pool /spa. This process entails the removal of dirt using excavation equipment or by hand if space is limited.
Steel and wood is then used to form the shape of your pool / spa. It will visually look rough but it will provide the necessary structural integrity.
Next all underground and in pool plumbing and electrical are installed. We ensure that a pressure test will be completed to check for any possible leaks. In addition, all electrical wiring, components and grounding will be installed at this time.
Before construction continues a city inspector will come to your home to verify all city codes have been met before moving forward.
This is the phase where your new pool or spa takes shape. A team of professionals will come in and apply the gunite to form a tough inner shell.
Water-falls, water features, rockscapes, water-slides or stone veneer will be completed at this time.
New concrete or stone decking is installed.
Installation of pool tile will be done at this time.
Pumping and filtration equipment are set next along with all electrical, indoor controls and pool lighting.
At this point the city inspector will come to your home to verify that all barrier requirements, such as fencing and door alarms have been met.
This is the point you have been looking forward to. Your family will be swimming in 5-10 days depending on your interior finish. Plaster, 3M or Pebble will now be installed. At this phase the home owner must be present to approve color before finishing can begin.
At this time a Start Up Technician will start up all pumping, filtration, and cleaning equipment. A complete orientation where you will learn how to service your swimming pool as well as maintain proper pool chemistry will be provided to you at your convenience. Your pool warranty will begin at start up.
